Griddles are a flat heated plate constructed from cast iron or steel, used mainly for cooking meat. Most griddles have a smooth cooking surface but some have a ribbed plate to drain away grease and cooking fat. The best way to clean your griddle is to scrape the cooking surface with griddle scraper whilst it is still warm.
