Pizza ovens with a stone/firebrick or ceramic baking deck offer a more authentic tasting pizza; Stone surfaces absorb moisture from the dough and therefore reduce the fat content of your pizza. Heat is retained with stone for longer than with metal so the pizza can be kept warm even when the oven is switched off. Pizza Ovens operate by heating and baking pizza dough with dry heat usually from electrically heated coils or fired by gas. Our pizza ovens are thermostatically controlled and generally come supplied with an audible alarm to alert you when the pizza is cooked.
