Polystyrene is one of the most commonly used types of plastic and its application for use in plastic glassware is a natural use of polystyrene in its solid form. Most of us think of polystyrene as a foam packaging material but in its solid form it is a colourless transparent material that lends itself perfectly to the application of re-usable glassware. Polystyrene glassware is likely to be found at festivals and outdoor events where the more expensive Polycarbonate is not an option. Polystyrene is completely recyclable and provides a more robust option to disposable flexible glassware.
