Korean food is considered one of Asia's greatest cuisines but will it catch-on and become mainstream?

In a recent feature on BigHospitality, Korean-American chef Judy Joo intimated that many British people aren't entirely sure where Korea is.  "Don't ask me why but people often think Korea is in south-east Asia and not between China and Japan. It's not a tropical country, you won't find coconut milk or kaffir limes in our cooking."

Some of the highlighted attributes which could help is expand and succeed here are it's barbecue and sharing nature, making it  a more sociable cuisine.  Additionally it has similarities to Chinese and Japanese food but with a unique positioning.
