Description
The Limbrey candlesticks were inspired by the shape of silver pieces created by Robert Welch in 1963. He was commissioned by Heal’s to design a collection of table silver for their London store. The collection was displayed at a special exhibition at Heal’s in 1964, and the items on display were manufactured to order from the Chipping Campden Workshop.
This modern rendition is made of 18/10 stainless steel with a mirror-polished surface and an oiled Walnut wood base. The candlestick’s hourglass shape reflects the flicker of a candle’s flame, spreading light throughout the surrounding area. The contrast between extremely reflective stainless steel and warm wood highlights the candlestick’s attractive design.
