Soda Syphons and Cream Whippers

As early as 1790 the concept of an "aerosol" was introduced in France to produce a self pressurized beverage. The Soda Syphon as we recognise it today was created in 1829 by two Frenchmen, by adapting a hollow corkscrew. Click here to view the full range of bar equipment available Popular in the 1920's and 30's, the syphon was replaced by bottled carbonated drinks during the 40's, a recent rise in popularity again has seen the stylish Soda Syphon being used in many a modern cocktail bar and lounge.
