Hoshizaki Company History

Hoshizaki was an electric company in 1947 and introduced its first food service product, a juice vending machine, in 1957.

We launched our first ice-making machine in 1955, marking the beginning of our growth. We expanded into cooking equipment and beer dispensers and opened our first overseas factory in Georgia, USA, in 1986.

We then expanded into Europe, Singapore and Beijing. We were listed on the Tokyo Stock Exchange in 1984 and have continued to innovate. We launched eco-friendly ice machines in 2003.

Today, eco-friendly models account for a significant portion of our sales.
